Romeo and Harriet is a Big Hit at WLMS!

This past week, over 60 of our students were involved in putting on the hilarious musical spoof, written by Charlie Lovett and lyrics composed by Bill Francoeur, that puts the shake in Shakespeare!  With the help of a group of quarreling chorus members — Oregano, Carpaccio, Risotto, Prosciutto, Antipasto, Pesto, Mayo and Romano — each audience got a deliciously funny spoof of Romeo and Juliet. This comedic and intelligent show caused a lot of laughter for the audience members and they didn't  even realize the were learning about Shakespeare!  (Adapted from www.pioneerdrama.com)

I want to commend all of our talented actors, techies and musicians who made the show such a huge success.  I want to thank Ms. Motuang, Ms. Berla and Ms. Chiarella for helping to direct, lead and choreograph this production. Once again, it is so amazing to see how great our students are in the area of live performance.
