South Korean Teachers Visit WLMS
On Friday morning, 22 Korean educators visited WLMS to learn about our school's approach to middle level education. The teachers had the opportunity to hear our band perform, hear about our school improvement efforts from members of our leadership team and visit classrooms to see our students and teachers in action. During the debriefing, the teachers were very complimentary about how the students were actively engaged and using a lot of technology.
The teachers were from the province of Jeollabuk-do (North Jeolla) in the southwest of South Korea. This is the province in which I visited this past summer. Although, I worked in Iksan.
