On Friday, I fly to South Korea to work with school leaders in the city of Iksan. I can't believe the departure date is almost here.
I am looking forward to learning about the Iksan school system and how they educate their young. I am especially curious about how they teach math in the early grades and prepare students for the middle level. I hope to get a better understanding of how students are taught basic computation skills and how they apply these skills in more advance math classes.
So, what do you pack when you are traveling to South Korea? Tonight, I began to use my best problem solving skills to try and figure out how to "Pack Lightly" for an almost three week stay.
I will try to post entries as often as I can...
Korea here I come!

Thanks Mr. Nunk! Most likely I won't be at work on the 20th due to jet lag...I would love a rain check!
I know you will represent HCPSS well! Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience! I know you and Sean will solve all the words issues between shaking hands and being photographed! Enjoy!
Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience! I know you and the team will represent Howard County well! I'm sure the time with Sean will allow you both to solve all the world issues, that is between shaking hands and getting your picture taken! Enjoy!
