The Importance of Fun?

Funtheory.com is dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behavior for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better.

I have a hunch that introducing this type of initiative/competition could really work at the middle level. Middle school educators are always looking for ways to reinforce positive behaviors with their students to increase learning; while at the same time creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. By challenging students to think about the FUN THEORY and what they might be able to do to influence positive behaviors of their fellow classmates, a middle school could be transformed. I think this could be a brilliant way to encourage students to think, innovate, learn and behave better. How FUN!

If you have any ideas on how fun has changed behaviors for the better at your school,
please share your ideas with me?
